Finishing my 2 Week Mexican Adventure it was straight off to Cuba ! WOW I was so excited! A place that isn’t the easiest to get to.

But that’s for another day , another adventure,

So ending my Central American adventure I decided to finish for 4 days back in Mexico 🇲🇽 staying at Playa Del Carmen in a gorgeous little hotel . Aqua de Luna

This was my last chance for 4 days of JUST CHILLING! 3 weeks on the go now time to recharge before heading home .

Days on the beach at the Hotels beach club which gives you safety for your stuff, beach chair & access to beach drink & food service.

Now for dinner .Travelling alone isn’t always easy for sitting down to simply enjoy a dinner & surrounds for a lot of people.

Personally it’s OK for me ( years of flying taught me that ) .Props are needed book, phone , magazines.

I spied this lovely seafood restaurant which I wanted to experience in the heart of Playa , water views, white tablecloth’s, great menu plus outside seating PERFECT ! So I book at table showing the lovely waiter which one .I wished to be seated at later tonight.

Nice restaurant ,nice clothes I’m off .Arriving I’m greeted by waiters Buenas Noches Senorita Paola ! Seated with napkin placed on lap I get asked “ your husband joining you? No I reply, friend perhaps? No ! “Oh a beautiful woman alone ! “ exclaimed the waiter
Now I know it was a lovely complement .Also know that I didn’t want hassle so I replied to the waiter “ my husband to be , died just before our wedding, & this was our honeymoon“ so yes I’m alone

The colour drained from the poor waiters face , he clasped my hands together and said Lo siento mucho “ I’m so sorry “the lovely head waiter comes over with a glass of Prosecco with their complements , with all the waiters being briefed about senorita Paola’s situation.
Enough to say I was treated with kindness throughout the evening, just enough attention & the best part shooing away the flower 🌹 guy & the ever present & loud mariachi bands!!!

The staff received a generous tip & I returned for my last nights dinner .
I know that it was a lie but let’s face it the reason for being there was after a devastating break up .so a little white lie really .

My time in Mexico was fabulous a place that has incredible beautiful scenery , the archeological sites are amazing but most importantly it’s people are beautiful humble kind & generous of spirit.
I can’t wait to go back & hope to experience a bucket list for me
