Another Misadventure in Ireland 🇮🇪 with Lady Estelle

WELCOME TO IRELAND 🇮🇪

So after a 24 Hour flight from Sydney to London Heathrow Airport there I was waiting at the luggage carousel going round & round waiting, waiting………. now with only 2 hours to get to Air Lingus on our flight to Dublin while Lady Estelle sits comfortably.

YOU GUESSED RIGHT NO BAGS ARRIVED!!!!

Well S&$T happens so we make our way to Terminal 2 , Anyone will tell you , “ Give yourself time “ So off we go Sans. Luggage a lot lighter.

Arriving at Dublin, paperwork done

”TOP OF THE MORNING LASSES “ Looking at our forms the Customs 🛃 Officer 👮‍♀️ says “ NO LUGGAGE “ with that Lady Estelle says “ Well I’m arriving here like my ancestors arrived in Australia with Bloody Nothing “ !!!!!

Then a long conversation started with Lady Estelle regaling the customs officers ( yes more gathered ) that she was a Jamieson , that her mammy was a Tyan & her great grandmother came out on a Bride ship as she was a Adulteress & was sent to Australia !,! Plus her 2nd cousin was the famed Dave Allen , Irish Comedian

Well roars of laughter & genuine Irish smiling eyes says , Well if you need a place to stay & something to wear here’s my number, our family will be glad to have you stay.

We thank the officers of their generosity but explain that I have everything under control , Hotel ready, transfer ok , bags arriving tomorrow we hope 🙏🏻🙏🏻🇮🇪

So exiting the customs hall leaving behind a handful of Koala key rings & packets of Tim Tams & we gained a beautiful sincere welcome to Ireland.

PS :Our bags did arrive before breakfast the next day

Dave Allen Always a glass of Whisky in his hand, he indeed did contact my Nanna when we came to Australian to tour.
