A Quintessential Surf Coastal Village without the hype & artificial wannabe of other areas, Yamba is it.
Eleven beaches are yours to explore including those at nearby Angourie ( any surfer in your life will be in the know about these)
Watch the Dolphins 🐬 playing at Convent Beach, Grommets can enjoy Yamba Main beach or Turners Beach . Paddle boarding can be enjoyed at Whiting Beach . Then there is Angourie Pt, Spooky Beach & Pippi & McKittricks Beach.
The great thing is whatever the wind direction there is a beach that will protect you.
So grab your towel, cossie, & sunscreen & get into the water 💦!!!!
Natures playground Explore The Green & Blue Pools at Angourie once was a rock quarry but freshwater halted that. In summer it may not be ok to swim here due to Algae but later you may have luck, have a picnic walk over the sand dunes to Back Beach quiet beach great for swimming & surfing
Grab a kayak or rent a boat for the day & explore the waterways around Yamba.
Catch the Iluka ferry over to where else Iluka !!!
Or get catch of the day & hop aboard a fishing charter boat.
Come whale watching season go out to see these amazing mammals migrating north to warmer waters.
Yamba is great a place place to sit down & breathe 🧘♀️ so relaxing here is sooooo easy & absolutely bloody necessary in our busy hectic lives.

Kayaking through Yamba Kayak , go on one of their adventures or rent by the hour & discover Yamba’s waterways on your own.
Of course miles of beaches to explore walking trails with the hill from the town to main beach the walk you will earn that extra coffee at one of many cafes.
Talking of Cafes here are a couple that are definitely worth visiting.
Angourie. Cafe Angourie gorgeous layback vibe . Open everyday except Wednesday open till 1.30pm.
Yum Yum ( sure is ) Angourie Cafe in Coldstream street Yamba outside & inside seating.

There is so many options to choose from from Motels, Air B n Bs . Rooms at The Pacific hotel. Cabins at the Many Caravan Parks . Look for location most will be within walking distance to town & at least one beach. Price quality all catered for. Sleep well.
SUNSET IN YAMBA
I only discovered Yamba in the last year however when I’m here I immediately feel relaxed & chilled. I suppose it’s the beautiful beaches but more importantly it’s the locals that make Yamba what it is…. Larrikins, gorgeous go getting women , young people wanting to branch out into a new venture. Young Restaurateurs trying new ideas .
